Job Summary
The Safety Specialist will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our company's safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This position will be responsible for training and coaching employees on safety protocols, conducting regular audits and inspections, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Train and coach employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in safety and compliance, preferably in a logistics or transportation industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

FedEx Supply Chain offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health, vision, dental, 401(k) with a strong match, and other benefits. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
Pay Range
$50,236.00 (Min) - $64,890.00 (Mid) - $79,545.00 (Max) Yearly
