Job Summary
The Safety Specialist will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our company's safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This position will be responsible for training and coaching employees on safety protocols, conducting regular audits and inspections, and identifying and mitigating safety risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
- Train and coach employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4-6 years of experience in safety, risk management, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical and Cognitive Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Pay Range
$50,236.00 - $64,890.00 - $79,545.00 per year, depending on location and experience.
