We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer to join our team at Jensen Hughes Company. As a Process Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of industrial processes and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and develop recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement process safety management (PSM) programs
- Perform dust hazard analyses (DHAs) and quantitative risk analyses (QRAs)
- Plan and direct process safety audits and inspections
- Develop and maintain process safety documentation and procedures
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify and mitigate process safety risks
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in process safety
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, and 10+ years of experience in process safety
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration with APEGA
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification
- Experience with PHA software and other process safety tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
