This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services to residents, including emergency room coverage, inpatient and outpatient services, and long-term care.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Establish and maintain a full-time community-based practice in Hardisty">
  • Provide call assistance as per schedules, including participation in the Emergency Department call schedule">
  • Abide by AHS Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and policies">
  • Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives">
  • Contribute to administrative responsibilities, as assigned">
  • Work collaboratively with peers and care team colleagues">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Have or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (required with application)">
  • Recent and relevant experience in all areas of practice, as the sole provider">
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification">

Desired Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Certificate of the College Family Physicians (CCFP)">
  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification">
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification">
  • Preference given to those with recent rural experience">

Compensation:

">

The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000-$350,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
