About the Role

You will be responsible for managing adult clients experiencing swallowing and communication difficulties, ensuring efficient service delivery through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across multiple communities.

  • Rehabilitation Focus: Prevention, health promotion, assessment, intervention, and case management for adults with complex needs.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Working closely with healthcare professionals, patients, families, and external partners to plan, coordinate, and deliver rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist in this position, your key responsibilities include:

  • Clinical Expertise: Utilizing clinical expertise to inform quality improvement initiatives, service integration, and program development within the organization.
  • Rural Service Delivery: Providing rehabilitation services across two to four rural communities within Central Zone.
  • Case Management: Managing caseloads collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Educational Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Professional Certifications: Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
