We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Elementary Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

This role is perfect for individuals who love working with students, enjoy teaching language and social studies, and are passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas.

As a Teacher-Tutor, you will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach, teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels, following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field, some experience teaching/tutoring at a Kindergarten to Grade 8 level, and strong English written and oral communication skills.

We offer a fun and supportive work environment, ongoing training opportunities, and a competitive hourly rate of $18 - $20.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
