We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Director, Health Programs to join our team at The International Foundation for Customer Experience in Government.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director, Health Programs will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of health programs and services, as well as providing strategic guidance and support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign projects and programs to determine potential improvement in public health services
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to achieve program goals
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure smooth program delivery
  • Review projects or data related to public health policy to determine areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform program decisions
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to stakeholders and senior management
  • Advise senior management on program strategy and direction
  • Plan, develop and implement communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote program success
  • Direct and advise health or social policy researchers, consultants or program officers
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years or more of experience in health policy and program administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The Assistant Director, Health Programs will work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
