Job Title: Director of Sustainability Programs

EnviroCentre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sustainability Programs to lead our team in developing and implementing innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainability programs and projects that align with EnviroCentre's strategic goals.
  • Manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality projects and programs that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support program development and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and private sector organizations.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and other senior staff to develop and implement organizational strategies.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in sustainability program management, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, forecasting, and metrics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability and environmental issues, with a demonstrated commitment to reducing environmental impact.
