EnviroCentre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sustainability Programs to lead our team in developing and implementing innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainability programs and projects that align with EnviroCentre's strategic goals.
  • Manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality projects and programs that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support program development and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and businesses.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and other senior staff to ensure alignment with EnviroCentre's overall strategy and goals.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in sustainability program management, with a focus on climate action and environmental sustainability.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability programs and projects.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices, including climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies.
