Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver patient care in accordance with clinical practice standards and regional policies
- Work collaboratively with an interprofessional team to provide comprehensive care
- Make clinical practice decisions and delegate duties to other healthcare workers
- Assume charge responsibilities for a unit(s) and coordinate care on the unit
- Plan and coordinate discharge services with other agencies
- Use resources prudently and effectively
- Give direction to and supervise the activities of others
- Current active practicing registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Current certification from a recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Acute Care of at-Risk Newborns (ACORN) course or acceptable equivalent
- Fetal Health Surveillance
- Intrapartum Nursing
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Two (2) years recent experience in applicable department/unit/program
- Working knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
