Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents in a variety of long term and acute care facilities in the Rainy River area.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective, compassionate, and supportive manner when dealing with others.
- Respect for each resident's individuality and right to self-respect and privacy.
- Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes influencing the operation of the Nursing Home and nursing department.
- Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
