Job Summary

PCL Constructors is seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for multiple departments, including high-level positions. The ideal candidate will develop proactive recruitment marketing activities to support robust candidate funnels against hiring forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including the creation of job postings, social media campaigns, and employee referrals.
  • Candidate Experience: Prioritize candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, utilizing the Employee Value Proposition to position PCL as an employer of choice.
  • Applicant Tracking: Maintain and update the applicant tracking recruitment database, analyzing statistics to report Key Performance Indicators.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with district HR and hiring managers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed of market conditions, trends, and programs to provide strategic recruitment recommendations.
  • International Recruitment: Support international recruitment efforts to attract top talent from around the world.
Requirements
  • Education: Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in a high-volume corporate recruiter role or experienced agency role.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, time management, organizational skills, and networking abilities are essential.
  • Assets: Previous experience recruiting construction professionals and strong industry knowledge are considered assets.
