About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Stop & Shop Continental Grocery and Convenience Store. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive customer experience, addressing customer requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Merchandising and Sales: Analyze sales data and trends to inform merchandising decisions, driving sales growth and maximizing revenue.
  • Store Operations: Oversee store maintenance, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail management role
  • Work Setting: Retail business with a fast-paced environment
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player
