Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator Specialist to join our team at Canadian Solar. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in the coordination of project-related activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the procurement and project management teams with project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Develop project plans and communications documents, ensuring timely completion and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Proactively assist with schedule development and milestone tracking, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
  • Support the procurement manager with vendor commitments and relationships, ensuring seamless communication and contract administration.
  • Effectively communicate project status updates to stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Manage communication flow for contract submittals, project reporting, invoicing, vendor submittals, and other documentation, maintaining accurate records and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Support subcontractor operations and manage the subcontractor schedule, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project milestones.
  • Identify and manage critical paths to task completion, minimizing delays and maximizing project efficiency.
  • Problem-solve unique situations as they arise, demonstrating resourcefulness and creativity in resolving challenges.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining business management tools for project execution, ensuring seamless integration and maximum value.
  • Identify process improvement areas and assist with process revisions, driving continuous improvement and enhancing project delivery.
  • Support the procurement manager in developing proposals and contract exhibits, ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Monitor project documentation status and compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual requirements.
  • Review and verify project documents for completeness and adherence to contract requirements, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Submit project proposals for management approval and transmit approved documents to stakeholders, facilitating timely decision-making and project advancement.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience, with a proven track record of success in project coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, and visual), with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and experience with scheduling in MS Project (P6 is an asset).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative, and creativity, with a willingness to take calculated risks and drive innovation.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional appearance and conduct, with a commitment to representing Canadian Solar in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required, with a willingness to travel to project sites when necessary.
  • Valid Driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle, with a clean driving record.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on annual objective achievement. Our generous benefits package includes:
