About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer - Data Ingestion to join our Information Technology team at Colgate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our data ingestion tools, ensuring seamless data extraction and processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion tools and processes to support business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related technical issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data ingestion tools and processes
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on data ingestion best practices
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through monitoring and troubleshooting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 3-4 years of experience with data ingestion tools and data pipeline support
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with data ingestion tools like HVR, SAP Data Intelligence, and Airbyte
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
