About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solutions Expert to join our team at Apgar Consulting SARL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical phases of MDM implementation projects, coordinating technical activities of a team of developers, and operating instructions and working on definition of architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement technical phases of MDM implementation projects
  • Coordinate technical activities of a team of developers
  • Operate instructions and work on definition of architecture
  • Design data integration matters to ingest data coming from third-party systems and configure data sharing
  • Monitor quality and proper functioning of the whole solution
  • Provide advice and coach Junior Technical Data Engineers
  • Participate in internal projects related to the development of Apgar's activity, such as the creation and formalization of the company's offerings and the improvement of existing offers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development in Java/J2EE environments
  • Solid knowledge in UML modeling and manipulating XML objects
  • Solid understanding and relevant experience managing in data modeling and Relational Database Management Systems
  • Previous experience using Eclipse, Tomcat, Maven, Oracle, Subversion, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Gradle, or GIT
  • Ability to master the concepts of continuous integration and release management in iterative and agile context
  • SQL Databases and Elasticsearch is a plus
  • Competency in Data Integration and Service-Oriented Architecture is a plus
