About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer - Data Ingestion to join our Information Technology team at Colgate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our data ingestion tools, ensuring seamless data extraction and processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain existing data ingestion tools, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Design and implement internal process improvements, automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for architectural governance and support of data ingestion tools.
  • Collaborate with partners to educate others on standard processes surrounding data ingestion work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with data ingestion tools and data pipeline support work.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases, query authoring, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with big data tools and data flow, data pipeline, and workflow management tools.
