Opportunity Overview

As our Payroll Administrator, you will support the preparation of semi-monthly payroll for processing for approx. 500+ employees, verify and update time and attendance records submitted by Managers, prepare Records of Employment, and respond to employees’ inquiries. You will also assist with new hires and the termination process and ensure all required documents are received on time and signed off.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of semi-monthly payroll for processing for approx. 500+ employees
  • Verify and update time and attendance records submitted by Managers
  • Prepare Records of Employment
  • Respond to employees’ inquiries
  • Assist with new hires and the termination process
  • Ensure all required documents are received on time and signed off

Requirements

You have at least 2+ years of progressive payroll and benefits experience. You are a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certified with the Canadian Payroll Association or are working towards it. You possess post-secondary education in accounting and/or finance, and ideally you have used UKG/Ultipro software.

What We Offer

We are proud to offer a competitive salary for this role in the range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year. The actually salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal equity. This position includes extensive benefits coverage and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and successful team.
