About the Role

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces to prevent dust accumulation
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to maintain their appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable sleeping environment
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed
  • Stock linen closet to ensure an adequate supply of linens
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain hygiene standards
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean environment
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure they are clean and fresh
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed to extend their lifespan
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required
  • Clean windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain hygiene standards
Requirements
  • Experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Repetitive tasks do not affect productivity
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. This salary estimate is based on industry standards and may vary depending on location and other factors.
