Meat Cutter

Fraserview Meats is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team in the retail meat department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meat products.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meat: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats.
- Meat Sales and Service: Weigh meats for sale, cut poultry into parts, and sell meats to customers.
- Meat Preparation and Display: Grind meats, prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood, and prepare special orders.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking, and requiring hand-eye coordination.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail meat department.
- Personal Qualities: Organized, team player, and able to work in a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours per week.
