Key Responsibilities- Develop and Communicate a High-Quality Visual Style: Work closely with the Product Art Director to identify and communicate a cohesive visual style that aligns with our brand and project goals.
- Lead and Mentor a Team of Artists: Direct and mentor a worldwide team of artists, providing effective feedback and guidance to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Interpret Development Needs into Amazing Artwork: Collaborate with development disciplines such as design and engineering to interpret their needs and create stunning and inspiring artwork that meets their requirements.
- Collaborate with Product and IP Teams: Work closely with the Product and IP teams to develop themes and cosmetic sets that align with our brand and project goals.
- Deliver Effective Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to artists across all disciplines, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Experience as an Art Director in a Game Studio: Proven experience as an Art Director in a game studio, with a strong understanding of the game development process and art disciplines.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of artists to achieve high-quality results.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with artists, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with Art Fundamentals: A deep understanding of art fundamentals, including color theory, anatomy, and appeal.
- Experience with Art Styles and Techniques: Experience with a wide range of art styles and techniques, including modern fashion-forward aesthetics.
