Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pita Pit. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring seamless food preparation and service
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports to management
- Coordinate the preparation of food order summaries for the chef
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
- Establish and maintain work schedules to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Supervision:
- 3-4 team members
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
