Post Production Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

COMPANY 3 is seeking a highly skilled Post Production Systems Engineer to provide maintenance and engineering support to Picture and Sound operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with SDI and digital media over network video, network and operating systems, routing systems and control systems within a post-production / broadcast environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance and engineering support to Picture and Sound operations
  • Setup and configure new systems
  • Advocate technical solutions for the operations department
  • Provide technical expertise and support operations to minimize downtime
  • Support and troubleshoot production workflows while ensuring COMPANY 3 security standards are followed
  • Train production staff on new equipment and systems
  • Maintain engineering documentation
  • Stay current with technology and industry trends

Requirements:

  • Technical understanding of various film & television specifications and standards
  • Ability to evaluate, learn, and implement new software and hardware
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a calm, professional and courteous manner
  • Self-motivated, also able to work within a team environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
