Global Category Manager

About the Role
The Global Category Manager - Accessories Procurement and Planning will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement and inventory strategies that meet competitive market demands while achieving corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement and inventory strategies to meet business objectives
- Work closely with the demand planning team to build a supply plan based on supplier network capacity
- Play an active role in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process
- Manage a team of buyers, planners, and analysts to execute the category strategy and meet margin and profitability objectives
- Develop and maintain the suppliers database and stay informed of market developments
- Manage the lifecycle of products and contracts, including supporting the Portfolio Manager in the accessory development and sourcing cycle
- Collaborate in the deployment strategy to improve facing fill rate
- Set up and maintain work tools and business processes necessary for the department's proper functioning
- Manage supplier relationships globally
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in administration or engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, and supply planning
- Essential bilingualism (oral and written) and knowledge of Spanish is an asset
- Be versatile, autonomous, rigorous, and have excellent analytical skills
- Good communicator and recognized leader
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and teamwork
- Ability to manage and mobilize a team
- Knowledge of SAP S4 and SAP IBP is an asset
- Available to travel
