Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at PV Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Job Summary:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our guests.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to maintain our high standards.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events and banquets to ensure smooth execution and high guest satisfaction.
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability and quality.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain our high standards.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain our high standards.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain our high standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Recruit and hire staff to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure smooth execution and high guest satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
