About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Professional to join our team at Englobe. As an Intermediate Environmental Engineer/Professional, you will play a key role in the implementation and management of environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and clients.
  • Coordinate and complete assigned activities related to environmental project implementation, including phased environmental site assessments, site remediation, and hazardous materials assessments.
  • Remain current with local, provincial, and federal regulations and guidelines for environmental assessment and management.
  • Apply engineering principles to complete complex and difficult projects, and prepare field notes and analyze data.
  • Write technical reports and proposals, and collaborate with other environmental professionals and technical staff.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • University degree or college diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment/field experience.
  • Member of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, and strong report writing skills.
  • Experience in supervising contractors on the worksite, and strong organizational skills.
  • Focused on delivering high-quality services to clients, and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Atlantic provinces on an occasional basis, and demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
