About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer/Professional to join our team at Englobe. As a key member of our Environment department, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and management of environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Coordinate and complete assigned activities related to environmental project implementation, including phased environmental site assessments, site remediation, and hazardous materials assessments.
  • Stay up-to-date with local, provincial, and federal regulations regarding contaminated site assessment and management.
  • Apply engineering principles to complete complex projects and prepare field notes and data analysis.
  • Write technical reports and proposals to communicate project findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other environmental professionals and technical staff to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Requirements
  • University degree or college diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment and field experience.
  • Member of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists (asset but not mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong report writing skills (asset).
  • Experience in supervising contractors on the worksite.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete work within established timeframes.
  • Focused on delivering high-quality services to clients.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Will to travel throughout Atlantic provinces on an occasional basis.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
