Environmental Engineer/Professional

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer/Professional to join our team at Englobe. As a key member of our Environment department, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and management of environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Coordinate and complete assigned activities related to environmental project implementation, including phased environmental site assessments, site remediation, and hazardous materials assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with local, provincial, and federal regulations regarding contaminated site assessment and management.
- Apply engineering principles to complete complex projects and prepare field notes and data analysis.
- Write technical reports and proposals to communicate project findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other environmental professionals and technical staff to deliver high-quality services to clients.
- University degree or college diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment/field experience.
- Member of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists is an asset but not mandatory.
- Working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Strong report writing skills is an asset.
- Experience in supervising contractors on the worksite.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete work within established timeframes.
- Focused on delivering high-quality services to clients.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingsness and ability to travel throughout Atlantic provinces on an occasional basis.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
