Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Mechanics Group Leader to join our team at Quest-Tech Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements, test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment, and troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Fabrication and Repair: Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts, perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors, and perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators, or other parts.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
Personal Qualities
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensure that all work is performed with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
