Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Systems Group Leader to join our team at Quest-Tech Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical and mechanical technicians in the maintenance and repair of complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of electrical and mechanical technicians in the maintenance and repair of complex equipment
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project completion
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair
    • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation to determine work requirements
    • Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment to identify areas for improvement
    • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment
    • Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts as needed
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure successful project completion
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical systems maintenance and repair
  • Personal Suitability
    • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
