Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Systems Group Leader to join our team at Quest-Tech Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment
  • Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts
  • Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors
  • Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators or other parts
  • Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance
