Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Dining Services Manager to join our team at Mr. Sub. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurants.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures that meet the high standards of our brand.
  • Conduct cost analyses to optimize food and service costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, maintaining a safe and responsible environment for our customers.
  • Maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock and minimizing waste.
  • Oversee health and safety protocols, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other essential supplies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients for catering or facility rentals, driving revenue growth.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, contributing to the development of effective promotional strategies.
  • Foster exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise staff members in various areas of responsibility, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate expertise in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word, utilizing these tools to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Show attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work.
  • Manage a large workload, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed to maintain productivity.
  • Be prepared to work overtime, as required, to meet the needs of our business.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and advancement.
