Job Summary:

The Yard Attendant plays a vital role in supporting the operations of Custom Truck One Source, a leading provider of heavy equipment and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment, maintaining the appearance of our branch, and performing various labor-based tasks to support branch operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to safety rules and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Detail the interior and exterior of trucks
  • Operate a variety of light and heavy-duty trucks on our premises
  • Assist technicians with repair work, requiring occasional travel with field technicians to assist on field repairs
  • Check in and check out rental, sale, and used equipment
  • Perform various labor tasks related to maintenance of the building, yard, shop, warehouses, or equipment
  • Routine tasks include sweeping, emptying trash, and other similar duties
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Parts and service or related experience required
  • Proficiency in common computer software (MS Office Suite) and inventory software
