Job Summary:

The Yard Attendant plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of Custom Truck One Source by assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment, maintaining the appearance of the branch, and completing various labor-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to safety rules and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Detail the interior and exterior of trucks.
  • Operate a variety of light and heavy-duty trucks on premises.
  • Assist technicians with repair work, requiring occasional travel with field technicians to assist on field repairs.
  • Check in and check out rental, sale, and used equipment.
  • Perform various labor tasks related to the maintenance of the building, yard, shop, warehouses, or equipment.
  • Routine tasks include sweeping, emptying trash, and other similar duties.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Parts and service or related experience required.
  • Proficiency in common computer software (MS Office Suite) and inventory software.

  • Extremely detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work priorities.
