Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and dietary needs of our customers, while ensuring profitability and efficiency in food preparation and service.

Staff Supervision and Training

Lead and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to prepare and serve high-quality food.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources.

Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards and maintain a clean and organized environment.

Financial Management

Estimate food costs, manage inventory, and control labor costs to ensure the kitchen operates within budget.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role

Work Setting

Staff accommodation available

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift heavy objects

Personal Suitability
