Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

Circle K is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supervise and train sales floor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain a secure store environment.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new employees, including providing training and guidance.
  • Assist with the recruitment and hiring of new staff members, ensuring a diverse and inclusive team.
  • Work closely with the store manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance store operations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
