We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our DevEx Acceleration team at theScore. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be working closely with a talented group of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver exceptional software solutions.
About the Work
As a Senior Software Developer on the DevEx Acceleration team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and building innovative local development experiences for our backend applications, with a focus on improving the overall developer experience.
- Creating elegant command-line interfaces (CLIs) and internal tools to streamline development workflows and enhance productivity.
- Collaborating with developers across the organization to identify pain points and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Experimenting with new technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our development processes.
- Participating in the design, architecture, and delivery of new features in a collaborative agile/scrum environment.
- Contributing to the development of our internal style guide, maintainability, and best practices documentation.
- Mentoring junior and intermediate developers to help them grow and develop their skills.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in computer science, including experience in backend, frontend, and DevOps. You should be prepared to take on a technical leadership role on the team, with an ownership mentality and a passion for software craftsmanship and building developer tools.
