Senior Software Developer, Devex Enablement Specialist

TheScore, a leading digital media and sports betting company, is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to join its Devex Enablement team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in empowering our engineering organization to work more efficiently and effectively.
About the Work- Streamline Onboarding Processes: Design and implement efficient onboarding processes to ensure new team members can quickly get up to speed.
- Enhance Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain a developer portal to facilitate knowledge sharing across the engineering organization.
- Optimize Feedback Loops: Implement processes to minimize context switching and optimize feedback loops throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Build Elegant CLIs and Tools: Design and build internal tools to enhance developer productivity.
- Experiment with New Technologies: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and experiment with new technologies to improve developer experience.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their workflows and challenges, and provide guidance and support in implementing productivity-enhancing practices and tools.
- Develop and Implement Metrics: Develop and implement metrics to measure team productivity, satisfaction, and flow state.
- Strong Technical Background: Solid background in computer science, including experience across backend, frontend, DevOps, and developer productivity.
- Technical Leadership: Prepared to play a technical leadership role on the team.
- Ownership Mentality: Ownership mentality, not just great coding skills.
- Passion for Software Craftsmanship: Passionate about software craftsmanship, building developer tools, improving onboarding processes, and knowledge sharing.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
