MATHESON SWEETS & CATERING is seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor to join our team. As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train and supervise staff
Work Environment:

The Catering Supervisor will work in a variety of locations, including restaurants and catering events. The work environment will be fast-paced and physically demanding.
