Job Summary
We are seeking a Contract Specialist to manage, develop, and oversee our existing and potential security contracts. This role requires a thorough understanding of contract management, including contract formation, terms and conditions, contract law, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare RFP and contractual documents for security bids, ensuring completeness, proper formatting, and proofing.
- Prepare documentation for contract negotiations with new and existing clients, presenting it to our executive team.
- Maintain a database of all agreements and contracts with expiration and renewal dates.
- Monitor and report on contractual requirement status to our executive team on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct reviews of existing contracts for updates in language or other potential updates required.
- Add improvements to existing CNL contract policies to ensure compliance and reduce any potential risks.
- Seek new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
Requirements
- Completion of a related undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Previous procurement experience is required for this position.
- Experience with Government Contracts is an asset.
- Experience working in a similar role within the Security Industry would be an asset.
- Be professional, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Be able to obtain a Government of Canada Clearance.
- Be able to obtain clear police conduct.
- Valid Driver's license.
