Production Engineer Leader in Saskatchewan

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join our team in Weyburn, SK. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading various oil/gas related projects, mentoring engineers-in-training, and providing technical support for field operations, subsurface repairs, and production optimizations.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage area responsibilities with the Field Operations team
- Work with Calgary-based engineers to ensure wells are on production and tied in after drilling and completion
- Support production optimization activities, identify reactivation candidates, and lead abandonment initiatives
- Identify facility/pipeline requirements for current and future capital development
- Assist with facility optimization/rationalization and operating cost reduction initiatives
- Support Maintenance and Facilities teams in annual facilities turn-arounds
- Initiate high-level projects within the Viewfield area
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Certified Engineering Technologist with relevant experience
- Strong technical skills, ability to work at both field and corporate levels
