About the Role

Cirque du Soleil is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Public Relations Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's corporate outreach strategy, as well as strategic public relations initiatives aimed at growing and protecting the company's reputation and brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that align with the company's objectives and enhance its corporate image.
  • Create and manage annual PR plans and budgets to support organizational goals.
  • Develop and pitch compelling story ideas, manage media inquiries, and coordinate media interviews.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead the development and execution of crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate potential reputational risks.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including press releases, speeches, op-eds, and corporate messaging.
  • Plan and execute corporate events, press conferences, and media briefings.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives using metrics and KPIs.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in public relations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or director-level role.
  • Proven track record of successful PR campaign development and execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in English and in French.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Proficiency in using PR software, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a team.
