Position Overview

Forbius is seeking a skilled Project Manager to enhance our dynamic and high-achieving team.

Under the guidance of the Director of Manufacturing and the Associate Director of Alliances and Program Management, and in collaboration with the Project Management, Manufacturing, and R&D teams, the Project Manager will be responsible for the oversight, planning, and execution of designated projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a variety of cross-functional projects in operations, focusing on third-party manufacturing, process enhancements, and compliance in manufacturing.
  • Support Forbius's initiatives by supervising assigned projects and ensuring that timelines and milestones are effectively communicated and adhered to.
  • Provide regular project status updates to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with budget, project scope, and timelines, while adhering to applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs), good manufacturing practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements.
  • Align project goals with both corporate and departmental objectives.
  • Facilitate clear communication among all project stakeholders, ensuring understanding of roles, timelines, and the interconnections between activities and business outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage established plans to guarantee that all deliverables and milestones are achieved.
  • Analyze variances between planned and actual outcomes and contribute to the development and implementation of necessary corrective actions.
  • Assist in maintaining effective change control and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the preparation of presentations for project and departmental meetings.
  • Oversee the program budget and collaborate with department heads and senior management to ensure project budgets remain controlled.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and document meetings for project team members and ad-hoc project discussions, ensuring consistency across projects in terms of agendas, meeting minutes, and documentation.
Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular or Cellular Biology, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 1 year of Project Management experience within a Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical organization.

Experience in managing scientific or Biotech projects is essential.

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a regulated environment (pharmaceuticals) is advantageous.

Proficiency in MS Office suite, Adobe, and other relevant software.

Demonstrated ability to be highly productive and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
