Job Summary:

The Guest Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. This includes registering arriving guests, processing group arrivals and departures, taking and canceling room reservations, and providing information on hotel facilities and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
  • Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, exchange foreign currency, and process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Clerical Duties: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Multi-line switchboard, computerized bookkeeping system, central reservation system (CRS), spreadsheet, and internet.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, credit check, and criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgment, organized, reliability, and team player.
