Bistak Groceries Inc. o/a Latter House Glory Foods is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Assign Sales Workers: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to sales associates to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop sales associates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments: Process payments and manage cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and security.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales of merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Retail business or wholesale establishment/store.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines.
- Work Under Pressure: Manage stress and work effectively under pressure.
- Handling Heavy Loads: Lift and move heavy loads as required.
- Manual Dexterity: Use manual dexterity to handle merchandise and equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Accurate: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
