We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Super 8. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining the accuracy of our hotel's records.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process departures, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests.
- Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain accurate records of hotel transactions.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide excellent customer service to our guests.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, to support the smooth operation of our front office.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment: Hotel, motel, or resort setting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
