We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Scheduling Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist in maintaining Direct Service Staff schedules by entering data into our Home Care scheduling system. You will also assign and schedule staff members, communicate with clients and other healthcare staff, and collaborate with the Resource Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff schedules and client information
  • Assist in coordinating staff assignments and scheduling
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Resource Coordinator to ensure seamless operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of related administrative experience
  • At least 6 months of scheduling experience
  • Data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the healthcare industry or relevant fields is an asset. Familiarity with Procura software and keyboarding speed of 45 wpm are also beneficial.
