Job SummaryA Healthcare Automation Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of client systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing repairs to client hardware and software.
This role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. The specialist will also be required to travel frequently, sometimes at short notice, to support customers across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a service representative for specific customers
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot complex electronic control systems
- Install, set up, and repair client systems and equipment
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe
- Complete administrative tasks and reporting requirements
- Foster a culture of excellence and customer-first service relationship
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of McKesson automation equipment and its functions
Requirements:
- Relevant front-line, field-based technical customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to move heavy equipment and perform installation work in cabinetry and elevated spaces
