Overview

Dexterra Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team in Orillia, ON. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff training.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen in cooperation with the Chef Manager
  • Prepare, present, design, and serve fresh scratch menus
  • Ensure all foods are prepared using FOODSAFE protocols and in accordance with Dana Hospitality standards
  • Manage, record, and report inventory on a bi-weekly basis

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a full-service, high-volume environment
  • Strong passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute requests
  • Basic knowledge of financial aspects of business operations
  • Caring, self-motivated, and able to lead, coach, and drive excellence
