About the Role

Foundation Building Materials is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Professional, you will play a key role in expanding our sales activities to support our fast-growing business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue sales opportunities to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and their applications to provide excellent customer support.
  • Order Management: Code and input customer orders, pricing information, and additional data into our computer system.
  • Delivery Coordination: Coordinate deliveries with our Operations staff to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer support through knowledge of our products and their applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle and resolve customer issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with customers, management, and Outside Sales Representatives to ensure seamless sales and customer support processes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years inside sales experience (incoming call preferred).
  • Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner, ability to focus on different tasks and use time efficiently to achieve desired outcomes, familiarity with Windows operating systems.
